Last week we made another trek to Grandma and Papa's house in upstate NY. The day we arrived, we celebrated both Christopher and Joshua's birthdays, as my family missed the earlier festivities. Everybody was overly generous (as usual) and the boys received some great gifts.
Later in the week, we had lunch at Jennifer's house, in Syracuse. The river behind her house overflowed with the rainfall over the past week (about 4"). After lunch, she had the boys work off their food by moving gravel around her driveway, while Dad and I helped her trim her hedges.
The rest of the week consisted of science experiments with carbonated beverages and "Mentos" mints, some gardening with Mom and Cathy, and a lot of target and trap shooting with all of us. It was a very fun, relaxing, and fast week.
