Following the first day of classes, I took the ferry across the river to Algiers. At the bottom of the levy, there is a prime location to take night shots of the city line, and the Rte 90 bridge that connects New Orleans to the southernmost part of Louisiana.After taking the pics, I had a late evening dinner of Prime Rib with the fixings at a local restaurant.
I have classes thru the next 3 days, and probably am done with my sightseeing now. I will post some more pics on my Photography blog and website after I return.
