Algonquin Mill Fall Festival

Today, our church went down to Carroll County with our bus to the Algonquin Mill Fall Festival. The Algonquin Mill is just south of Carrollton and has this yearly fall festival that includes local vendors, exhibits, lots of food, arts and crafts, and stuff for the kids to do. It was a really nice fall day, with sunshine and temps in the low 60's. Due to the heat wave last week, the leaves have been slow to turn, but you could still smell fall in the air.

Both boys made colored sand bottles, Chris got some beef jerky to share, and Josh could have hung out at he miniature train exhibit all day (He stayed till it was time for the bus to go).

On the way back, we stopped at Cracker Barrell for dinner. While we were there, we watched Josh work his unknown skill at the triangle pegboard. Not once, but twice he was able to work the puzzle down to 1 peg!!!
