Back Online

After 2 days of no power, we are back online. It has been several days since we have had power, but we all have been busy with several projects around the house. These include new floors in the kitchen and foyer, kids' bathroom renovations, new carpeting, and a new backup generator for the house. I will post pics in the near future as each is completed.

Here are some pics of the aftermath of the ice storm, and of our activities to help pass the time. The boys were great, and played a lot of board games, played outside, and had school one day too. We ate out a couple nights, and kept the house as warm as possible (upper 50's) with the gas fireplace. Many people in counties northeast of us were out of power a lot longer than us, and may still be out, as far as I know.
