Letter from Josh

We heard from our son today, here is his activities from today...

Hi Mom and Dad and Chris,
I am having such a fun time and Grandma and Papa's. I'm so glad I came. I got here about 3:00pm and enjoyed my ride with Aunt Mary and Uncle Ray. When we got off the thruway I recognized the area and knew that Aunt Jenifer lived close so I suggested they drop me off at her house and I'd get a ride with her but they said she wasn't home.
After I got here Papa and I went out back to check on the fort and we picked a bunch of wildflowers for Grandma. She put them in a vase and sat them on the kitchen windowsill so we could look at them while we eat.
Grandma and Papa had company for dinner last night. Miss Mary and Mr. Wally from Florida were here and we ate in the dining room. I was really hungary and ate a lot. Grandma had Brownies and Ice Cream sandwiches for dessert.
After Mr. Wally and Miss Mary left Papa and I played two games of Stratego. Papa had never played it before so we had to read all the directions before we could start. After that I watched some Spiderman 3 on my DVD player and then Papa and I went to bed at 11:30.
Today I got up around 8:30 and Papa made me toaster sticks with Maple Syrup. Grandma had a hair appointment at 9:30 so we drove her to that and then came home and played another game of Stratego. When Grandma called we went and got her and then did some grocery shopping. I got to ride in a cart that was like a car with a steering wheel. That was fun.
We came home and had some lunch and then I put on my sunscreen (with Grandma's help) and went outside for awhile. Later Papa called me in and we made Chocolate Chip Cookies. They were so good warm from the oven (the raw dough wasn't bad either). After we made the cookies we watched some episode of "Do South". Papa really likes these movies and laughed a lot. I don't think I understood all the jokes but I liked it anyway. About 4:00pm we are going to go to the beach to do some swimming and have a picnic supper. I bet Papa witll play some more games with me after that.
Tomorrow Grandma and Papa are taking me to the Mall to see "Underdog". After the movie we are going to Aunt Jennifer's for dinner and she has invited me to spend the night at her house. She is going to work from home on Thursday until noon and then she is going to take me to the Zoo. After we go to the Zoo she is going to bring me back to Grandma and Papa's.I am so excited. I've never stayed at Aunt Jennifer's house before.
I miss all of you and can't wait to see you on Friday.
