Following Mount Vernon, we drove further south to tour the National Marine Corps Museum. This museum featured the Corps in WW1, 2, Korea, Vietnam, and its use by the DOD in the modern day war on terror. Another feature of the museum shows how boot camp is experienced by the new recruit from arrival to graduation. This was one of the favorite parts for the boys.
