Windmill

Construction began today on Dad's windmill. The trench was dug from the base of the mill to the house, the inverter set in place in the garage, and footers dug for the guide wires. The concrete should be poured on Monday, and the tower should be up in a few weeks.

When completed, the tower should stand 134' from base to apex of the blade, and my parents should be able to recoup 90 - 100% of their electricity needs. (Since they are not making any money, maybe they should just shut it down... :) )
