Day 3 is supposed to be the hottest day of all this week (the car thermometer said 110 this afternoon). We decided to do a day trip to Charleston and see the sights there. We started out on a bus trip that took us thru the city to see various sights, architecture, and historical monuments. Following the tour, we had lunch and toured the Military History Museum. This museum was small, but had a lot of interesting exhibits. On the way back to Myrtle, we stopped by Fort Moultrie (which was closed, but we knew this going in) and were back to the house by early evening.
