Mark Stone and I had another successful hunting trip to his Mother and Step-Dad's farm in Northwest Wisconsin. Mark shot his 8-point buck around 0800hrs on opening day, followed by my 7-point at 0820 the same morning. Both deer weighed in around #200, and were about 2 years old. We hunted the rest of the afternoon and over the next few days to fill our doe tags, with no luck.Mark is having his deer head mounted, which will be done in about a year.
We both had a fun and relaxing trip and look forward to going again soon.
